“And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.” -Jesus Christ (Luke 21:28).
We are living in some of the most deceptive days humanity has ever faced in the history of this planet. That is a bold statement, but we are seeing people willing to follow anyone who claims to have any kind of answers. Many of you may recall how millions at the beginning of this decade fell for Harold Camping’s lie that the Bible “guaranteed” the rapture to occur on May 21, 2011. Billboards promoting this date were seen across the country and Camping’s followers were at every major event handing out flyers. Furthermore, we continue to see millions fall for the lies of so-called extraterrestrials who are conjured up through trances in the very same way the principalities and powers, the fallen angels and demons, have always come to speak with people.
People are believing and following those like Barbara Marciniak because of her contact with the “Pleiadians,” they are believing and following those like Colleen Thomas, and millions are being drawn into New Age philosophy every day. People are looking for answers, answers to questions that churches have largely ignored, and they are turning en-masse to the New Age Movement who claims to have the answers. The answers, however, are skillfully crafted propaganda by Satan and his forces to explain away what the Bible prophesies when the prophesies unfold.
God knows the end from the beginning and Satan cannot stop prophecy from coming to pass; he found that out at the resurrection of the Lord. Yet, he can keep people away from the truth of God’s Word and then give apparent messages to channelers as though he were an extraterrestrial explaining away the events that the Bible prophesies will take place. The apostle Paul describes Satan as “the god of this age,” or, the one presently in control of the world (2 Corinthians 4:4), and the Lord never challenged Satan’s authority to give Him “all the kingdoms of the world” (Matthew 4:8-11). It would have been tempting for Jesus to accept Satan’s offer and gain back the world from Satan without having to go to the cross; yet, to do so would have compromised His own lordship as God, sharing His glory with another, Satan, and Scripture says He will not share it with anyone (Isaiah 42:8).
Yet, as “the god of this age,” Paul further describes that Satan’s work is to “blind the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.” That is, his program is one of deception, and the message of so-called extraterrestrials today is that humanity was created by a “reptilian race” who are “master geneticists” and “some of the prime instigators in putting together the human species on this planet.”¹ While this seems to be verified in the innumerable serpent legends throughout the world, from the dragons in the east to the story of Quetzalcoatl in Central and South America, the Bible however states in Genesis 3 that it was the serpent who deceived Eve and brought about the fall of humanity as rebels against the Creator. If there are reptilian-like beings, they are not humanity’s creators, but fallen angels who fell with Satan intent on destroying humanity who are made in God’s image.
Furthermore, a number of New Age authors also teach from their communion with so-called extraterrestrials that “Mother Earth” will soon begin a beneficial cleansing to purge herself of the “pollution” that resides in her body. This “cleansing” is described by Marciniak as “great chaos and turmoil… nations… rising against each other in war… earthquakes… happening more frequently.”² As the earth enters its’ new “phase” of existence, however, New Ager Kay Wheeler describes from her channeling with beings that those living upon the earth “must be of [the new] vibration” and those whose “thought patterns are of the past” and “hold on to… thoughts that keep Earth held back” must be removed from the planet.³ Marciniak also describes the removal of millions of people, saying:
The people who leave the planet during the time of Earth changes do not fit here any longer, and they are stopping the harmony of Earth. When the time comes that perhaps 20 million people leave the planet at one time there will be a tremendous shift in consciousness for those who are remaining.
New Age philosophy is a deliberate propaganda machine to hide the truth about what the Bible says will take place in the last days, particular in the Lord’s Olivet Discourse in Matthew 24 and Paul’s words in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-5:11. Noted Christian researcher L.A. Marzulli calls this an “alien gospel” and a “coming great deception.” The apostle Paul also said in his second letter to the Thessalonians that those who refused to believe the gospel of Jesus Christ before the rapture, who “received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved” would be given over by God to believe “a lie” (2 Thess. 2:10-12). Many people think that they can just accept Christ after the rapture, but that is not a gamble anyone wants to take. First of all, there’s no guarantee you will live to see the rapture, and secondly, the deception after the rapture will be incredibly convincing.
Yet, this “alien gospel” is not only being promoted by the New Age movement. The Roman Catholic Church even tossed their hats into the ring a few years back with the Papacy publicly stating that extraterrestrials exist and that they are our space brothers, created by the same God. The Papacy Astronomer Guy Consolmagno even stated that he would like to “baptize” an alien, then saying later that it may them baptizing us since they presumably would have much greater knowledge of God than we do. Tom Horn and the late Cris Putnam did a tremendous amount of research unveiling the Vatican’s position on extraterrestrials in the monumental 600 page work, Exo-Vaticana: Petrus Romanus, Project L.U.C.I.F.E.R., and the Vatican’s Astonishing Plan for the Arrival of an Alien Savior.
Our Lord Himself declared, “Then if any man shall say unto you, ‘Lo here is the Christ,’ or there;’ believe it not…. Wherefore if they shall say unto you, ‘Behold, He is in the desert;’ go not forth: behold, He is in the secret chambers;’ believe it not” (Matthew 24:23, 26). In this very same discourse, He declared, “As it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be at the coming of the Son of Man” (v. 37), paralleling exactly what Daniel said about the coming kingdom of the Antichrist, in which “they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men,” (Daniel 2:43), describing a return to the events of Genesis 6 and the hybridization program (click to read my previous article on Genesis 6). Churches must stop promoting the Sethite view, no matter how comfortable they feel it to be, and start telling people the truth. The history of this planet is far stranger than most people realize, and the so-called “gods” of the ancients (Deuteronomy 32:17; 1 Corinthians 10:20) will one day return, this time in the guise of “space brothers” (Revelation 9), and the Sethite view has done nothing but help promulgate this coming great deception.
The Christian life is not meant to be always comfortable and on easy street; we are in a war for the souls of men (Ephesians 6). The Lord asked his faithful who they said He was, and Peter declared Him as the Messiah (Matthew 16); this took place at the base of Mount Hermon at Caesarea Philippi in front of an altar to Pan, the Greek god of shepherds. This was the exact location in which the fallen angels were said to have come down in the days of Jared before the Great Flood in an attempt to thwart the promise of the Redeemer through the corruption of that time (Genesis 3:15; 6:1-9; Enoch 6-15). The Good Shepherd stood next to the Greek god of shepherds near an actual place called the Gates of Hades at the base of Mount Hermon and revealed Himself as the Messiah, the Promised One Who would crush the serpent’s head (Genesis 3:15). He specifically made the point that He was the One promised of long ago to crush the serpent’s head, and did so at this critical location. In this same talk, toward the end, He made the point that following Him would come at a high price, for the war that we are in is great. He declared in Matthew 16:24-25:
If any man will come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever shall lose his life for My sake shall find it.
People are being deceived and hurt both physically and spiritually by so-called extraterrestrials, as well as false prophets like Camping. Yet many churches continue to ignore the questions of people in the New Age Movement, continuing to propagate the fruitless idea of the Sethite view. It is easy to see from the popularity of a preacher like Joel Osteen that a majority of professing Christians want a “feel-good Christianity” and not have to think about a topic that may require them to actually pick up the heavy cross which the Lord assigns His followers to carry. Our Lord calls us to be followers, not merely fans sitting on the sidelines cheering Him on.
We are living in days in which there are countless false Christs that are arising, cult leaders all across the world claiming to be Jesus Christ. One such man on YouTube has even made the claim to not merely be Jesus, but to actually be the Father. This man is Brian Leonard Golightly Marshall, calling himself on his channel by the Lord’s Divine Name. He also claims to have found two women who are the reincarnations of Mary and Martha from the Bible. The fact that a man like this can gain a following is proof that our nation is in desperate need of prayer; people are so easily deceived. We truly are living in a time when people are so hungry for answers that they will follow anyone. Our Lord says very sternly about the last days before His return in Matthew 24:4,
“And Jesus answered said unto them, ‘Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in My name, saying, ‘I am Christ;’ and shall deceive many.”
All this may seem frightening, but remember that as the deception grows, the time of the coming of our Lord and our final redemption draws ever closer. So keep looking up!
